YO, TUMBLR. Imma level with you - I am so burnt out on awards season fatigue it’s not even funny. Like, we’ve reached the point where I now have developed a Pavlovian response to the hyperbolic expression ~ALL THE AWARDS~ where I reach similar hyperbolic heights and want to set myself on fire. So in honor of that: HERE, HAVE THIS - a random sampling of some of the super awesome films that did not in fact win ~all the awards, or Best Picture in particular, but are still really super duper awesome films that I love. There’s no rhyme or reason to this, just random movies I thought of (and had easily accessible screencaps, lol; sorry ‘bout that, Citizen Kane - slighted again!) I know: no1curr, but I needed an outlet for the hate/hate relationship I am developing with this website LOL.
